Dr. Markus Watson
Dr. Watson is a graduate of New York University’s School of Dentistry in Manhattan in 1995. He served a residency in general practice at the Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.
In 1997, he began his practice in general dentistry on Manhattan’s upper east side at 58th and Lexington. He worked part time in Brooklyn, NY for a nonprofit health center at the Brooklyn Plaza Family Health Center.
In 2003 Dr. Watson relocated to the Bay Area and started as an associate with the Union Street Dental Care and began his private practice in 2004.
Dr. Becky Chen
Dr. Chen completed her undergraduate studies at University of California at Berkeley. After earning her DDS from University of Texas and practicing in Houston, she returned to California. Moving back to the Bay Area was a natural decision for her, as she enjoys the outdoors, the diversity, and the cuisine
that San Francisco has to offer.
Dr. Peter Lai
Dr. Lai is a native New Yorker who graduated in 1998 from the University of Rochester in
Rochester, NY with a B.A. in Religious Studies, with a concentration in Archaeology. In 2002 he
relocated to the bay area to complete his dental education at the University of California, San Francisco,
School of Dentistry. He then served a general practice residency at the Veterans Affair Hospital
in Sacramento, CA.
He is Board Certified, a member of The American Dental Association,
The California Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, and
The San Francisco Dental Society.
Dr. Bryan Abrams
Dr. Abrams is from Marin County and received his undergraduate degree from the
University of California at San Diego. He completed his DDS degree at New York University and
Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at UCLA.
After finishing his training, he was anxious to return home to the bay area. He enjoys the outdoors,
mountain biking and spending time in San Francisco with his friends and family.
Yira Evans, Office Manager
Ms. Evans, is extremely knowledgeable and ready to answer questions in the areas of insurance coverage, treatments or finances. She is naturally kind and will be one of the first smiles that you see upon entering South Beach Dental.
Carlos Montano, Dentist Expert
Dentist Expert, Carlos Montano is another excellent reason for visiting the office of South Beach Dental. He has 15 years of experience, so you can rest assured that he will both make you feel at ease and answer your questions about all aspects of dentistry. He is also fluent in Spanish.
